Dell A840 not working , motherboard issue

selling my dell vostro A840 C2d 1.6ghz 1gb DDR2 ram,160gb harddisk 14inch laptop ,

price rs 4000

condition 6/10 as there are many scratches at the bottom , and few scratches on top due to glossy finish.

had gone to dell service center they told motherboard ic needs replacement . so i just came back as i dont like to repair it .




it is 2+years old
selling it as in condition as dont have time to repair and purchased a sony vaio .

i have the charger and laptop.

i am from mumbai, i did not ask the cost as i did not want to repair it only so just came out .

Would be interesting to know the cost of repair, because no one wants to buy a laptop for 5k and spend 10-15k repairing it. Can you find out the cost of repair, would be useful in arriving at a buying price.

i dont have time for the same, thats y i am selling the same condition .
if i wanted to make it i would have done it and then sold it outside.
