Laptops Dell Delivery

The sales person told me that I will get my laptop within 7 business days. Will I really get it within this time frame? Please share your positive/negative experiences?

One of my friend ordered a dell studio P8600 and he informed me that he will get only by the end of this month.
 
i odered inspiron 14 and it was delievered within 4 days

the delivery date depends upon the part availabilty

the factory is in chennai and i live in bangalore

i went for express delievery which cost me rs 900 bucks
 
I received mine in about 13 days as there were holidays for 3 days in between (excluding Sunday). So technically they took 9 days to manufacture and ship it to me. (I am from Pune btw)

My friend received his in 14 days. No holidays in between except the two Sundays :)
 
3 to 5 days so far. You need to factor in if Octroi is applicable to you, as that can take 1 or 2 days to clear.
 
If they changed delivery from first claim (once or sevaral times) be a bit aggressive and ask for compensation with added/ better configuration or 3 yrs complete cover warranty.

You might find several cases like these (of bargain and asking for compensation on account of unexpected details).

One of my friend got 3 yr complete cover warranty for delay when he threatened to cancel order.

So make most of the circumstances and act fast before they deliver laptop to u (which already could be late).
