Guys my brother owns this . It came with a preinstalled windows 7 HB . After which we dual booted it with windows Vista as he wanted to run seibel on it. I suppose the boot loader code was changed . Now when I try to remove Vista and bring back Windows 7 in the original factory settings the "Repair your computer" Option in the bootloader doesnt work . It only redirects to the boot loader itself showing the 2 options . I still have the recovery partition on the laptop . So any other way I can use the recovery partition? And how will windows XP work on this cause I tried installing XP but it game a hard disk error every time during setup

XP won't work on newer hardware.

As of recovering your OS, try installing Win7 from a disc. You may borrow a disc from you friend but use the key which came with your laptop. That way it will be legal.

^^ Ofcourse you can use that,

Most preinstalled softwares are bloatwares IMO. You can download the essential ones from the Dell site.
