OT : planning to buy an ASUS / TOSHIBA laptop from Singapore (IT FARE).. how good are their customer support centers in India ? anyone dealt with them ?

Well frankly telling its my bad luck that i have used asus and toshiba but never need to find service center or need to call customer care cos product working normal and fine lol so never able to test their customer service or service center

Yea true asus price is on upper side they never built crap stuff thats the real deal in asus and on toshiba they are good too. dell was good till last year this year just to woo customer with 55k diamond like studio 1555 they have done big blunder and compromise in built quality and miss out in many ways.

hmm... i've had quite a good experience with dell cust care so far... although it's only been 1 week.... they speeded up the process of installation so that i cud get my laptop within 2 working days, and when my keypad failed within the first week itself, they had the technician over at my place the very next day, and he replaced it...

fingers crossed! :(

I have a Toshiba A305 Laptop.I had heating issues, rang Toshiba India took a case no went to HCL( HCL is the support provider of Toshiba).I did hear that HCL S**KS in repairing but i was amazed how my laptop was handled flat 24 hrs i got my laptop fixed .I spoke the technician at HCL.He told that every HCL service center which is authorized by Toshiba has a technician directly from Toshiba.Toshiba just uses the space provided by HCL and not parts from them.I would give 10/10 for Toshiba Service.

Actually, I would rate Dell good on customer service as well - I've needed service two times within the warranty period and both time I got it fixed within 2 days. However, I can't seem to any of my friends with a Dell who haven't had one failing part or the other which I find quite disappointing for a company regardless of the quality of their support.
