PC Peripherals Dell warranty process for mice

Logitech mouse as a replacement of Dell mouse ?
And warranty from Dell ?
Really Dell is different that other.

I called up Dell for the same - they said you need to contact seller, then have bill copy and etc. Just gave up and bought a Logitech.
