just called them up. they said net banking orders will be authorized after 24 hrs. lets see. does it happen this way?

^^ Yes, you can upgrade it to 2.3
Would cost you nothing, fellow TE members could help you out with it.
But would suggest you to rather opt for a stable 2.2 upgrade only.

upgrade to 2.2 --> go to dell service center, get it done for free.

upgrade to 2.3 --> custom roms, will void warranty.
 
Guys, i can't find a good deal for DELL XCD 35 screen guard.
Any place where i could get it for cheap online ?

Else anyone can take the pains to go to Nehru place/Palika and arrange a GO for it's screen guard ???
 
I bought 5 clear an 5 matte screen protectes from ebay US yesterday. They'll reach me in 10 days time. I'll keep 2 of each and the rest you can buy from me, if you want.

Want to buy one for my sister, this will be her first Android phone.. confused if i should buy her this or OP1? Even with the lowest price of OP1 8.8k, its still 2200 more than XCD35. Which will be a better buy?
 
i am already using san fransisco.... order another one today for my brother dell xcd35 from indiaplaza for 6.6k......:)

Can you update to 2.2 at home or you have to go to service centre :|
