Graphic Cards Denial of RMA by NVIDIA/RPTECH and MSI for PCI Express Slot and PCI Express Pad burn

Rptech was anyways shit since its inception and nvidia without realizing aka studying the reviews and feedback made rptech their Indo partner is as good as IMF funding pakistan knowing that pakistan generates terrorism. Same with nvidia but they are unknown nor do they bother nor they go through their forums where Indians speak and share horrifying stories against rptech!
RPtech stands for rotten pissed-off tech and so there service is totally rottten!
IMF bakc by USA so USA funding Pak to check India and as Nvidia appoint Rptech knlowing it's history, isn't it simple to understand that Nvidia too not much intrested in honoring warranty in India!!!

what do we buy then? Asus is crap, MSI is crap, Gigabyte is crap, basically all top 3 will **** us all over

I have done 4 Zotac RMA's.. never once they rejected or hesitated for the RMA. All cards were fine and the problem was something else completely which i came to know later.. yet they replaced them.

I know from my dealer RMA experiences.. RP tech and Acro are the worst when it comes to RMA's.

You wanna buy from brands who are serviced by Kaizen.. for eg Corsair, Zotac etc.

Can confirm for kaizen personally as I have had RMA'ed my Hyperx Alloy FPS keyboard twice from them due to some keys not working (most likely due to dirt getting inside them as this was and still is a common issue for mechanical keyboards).
People call Zotac cards cheaply made but they provide the longest warranty period among all the competitors and if Kaizen handles RMA for them and if we take into account mine and your experience I'd say there's no doubt to go for Zotac cards. If other manufacturers had confidence in their products they would have provided better/similar warranty.

You will realize slowly that this is a small worry as a consumer in India, i.e. much worse expereinces are waiting for you.
We need to have EU (or at least Australia) standards of consumer protection for us but we are decades behind lol.

maybe for HyperX, but not for any decent mech keeb, and by decent I mean hot swappable.

Whats best for amd cards ? I heard gigabyte was decent and they repaired it themselves.
Gigabyte will try to repair/clean your card before they will consider replacing.

Zotac straight up replaces them.

But for AMD even I'm not sure tbh.. there aren't many brands we can choose from.. best bet is probably to go with Gigabyte only.. because Asus is definitely worse than gigabyte.

Don't know about RMA for AMD cards but I heard Sapphire is the best overall because they make AMD cards only.

I think the reason why hot swappable switches have been so popular is due to the fact that mechanical keys are prone to have failure due to dust buildup. Some advertise their keyboard/switches as "DUST-PROOF" but its an impossible claim simply for the fact that something mechanical in nature will get dust inside. Hot swappable just makes it convenient for when it happens.

Regarding Gigabyte, I would like to provide some good feedback.

When Ryzen R9 9950X was about to be launched in Jul'24, I bought Gigabyte x670E Aorus Master Motherboard through amazon to pair with it. But launch of Ryzen 9950x was delayed, and I could not test the mobo till end of Aug'24.

Everything was good but mobo was not holding the BIOS settings, if SMPS was powered off. So CMOS battery was dead in a brand new board. Changing CMOS battery was not an option here, since it involved removal of mobo's back-plate and re-installation of several new thermal pads(poor design, rectified in x870E).

I dug on the issue and found out that many such cases were reported on some of the flagship Gigabyte motherboards, and apparently the issue was faulty battery holder(roaming in supply chain), which were shorting the battery. Replacement window was already closed in amazon.

Hesitatingly, I shot an email to Head of Gigabyte India; enquiring are they aware about this issue? And guess what, head of Northern Region Service sprung into action. After a couple of days of trouble shooting, he asked me to submit for repair, which I declined, citing I do not want my brand new mobo to be torn apart.

So, they replaced the old mobo with a brand new box in face to face transaction at Nehru Place Service Centre.

What I want to emphasize here is that, MD of Gigabyte India, not only took notice of my email, he also kept himself in the loop during the entire troubleshooting and till the replacement occurred.

I also wrote to NVIDIA(Global Head and APAC head) and RPTech(India Head) in this case, but the emails were ignored without any response.

For some models Gigabyte gives 4 y warranty too i think, so that's decent.

I had a similar experience with Cooler Master. Very good to say the least. I'm in the process of RMA'ing my 5080 FE (likely a dud), and this thread did not make for a pleasant reading experience.

Asus is crap,
Asus high-end and premium mobos are rock solid than msi and gigabyte.
MSI is crap
MSI simply tries to copy asus in every aspect and come up with its own revised ver. and their a.s.s. is pathetic to what I have heard till date and from member here.
Gigabyte is crap
It is at least for the people in my vicinity. I have always held Asus even though it starts giving issues post 7-10 yrs which is perfectly fine as the price paid is fully paisa vasooled by that period and time for a major rig haul.

I have even used Biostar mobo and they too are rock solid and so are Intel originals.
