Desire buying advise

Hey i heard that on HTC desire we cannot download apps onto the memory card!!! is that true?? whats the point if we cannot download apps onto memcard!! and on GSMarena it says we can save Max 356 mb of apps on phone .
pls help

OP : Its not based on the phone.

If the phone is running on 2.1 (Eclair), then the apps will be downloaded/installed on the phone memory.

The 2.2 (Froyo) has been made so that you can install the apps on the memory card.

am buying one today , but only brown color is available in desire HD :(

One word of caution about lets buy. It takes an avg. of 10 days to recieve the goods and there isnt proper updates too about shipment tracking etc... Personally I wouldnt recommend spending 24k on that website.

cause i heard there are still some apps that need to be on main mem and not on mem card!
