Get these for starters --

• Chipset
• iGP drivers
• LAN
• Audio

If there are any issues install the rest of the drivers.

I noticed one thing that LAN light on router stays on even after pc is shutdown i.e turned off from windows

It will stay on as long as the router is on and the LAN wire is plugged into the PC.

Is your UPS on at the time the light is on OR is the PC off but the mains are still powering the device?

Because that is how my router behaves, got it from MTNL along with our connection.

PC is Off but power line to PC is On I'm using the same Router which i used to use with my old pc.

So the power-line to the PC is on --> the SMPS is on. The system is live (there is a current in it) and thus the LAN port is showing up as so.

I cannot come with a satisfactory explanation myself.

I figured out that its to do with Wake on LAN functionality I'll disable that in BIOS now
