#[member='Altair'] sorry dude dont remeber how long the game was. I played it a very long time back (when I was in college 5-6 years ago). Back then I used to play games very slowly and I remeber that this game took a long time to finish.

LOL same here. I was in my 8th grade when DX was out. Don't remember jack!

okay thanks. I think i am halfway across the game.

I just destroyed the universal constructor and i am in paris right now

Storyline is really good, gameplay ok ok but i really wish the game was 3rd person though. :\

Dues Ex Completed.
<
Took me around 10 hours, was stuck on a level for more than an hour was unable to do a simple bull**** task.
<
although game completed. The game was ok might have felt awesome if i had played it at the time of release because of so many changes in gaming but anyways thanks everyone. Will be starting DE:HR once my GPU and PSU arrives.
<

PS- Should I really Skip Invisible wars?

Tempting dude, I myself started ME franchise after the hype in the ME3 launch thread (despite having ME1 and 2 for ages), completed ME1 and 2 in a couple weeks, and now in ME3, I totally love this genre and have been looking at similar games, some of em are Deus, Fallout series.

At the risk of dragging this even more OT, I am half way through Boderlands and its termed as an RPG, somehow I dont get that feeling after playing the ME series.

#[member='Altair'] maybe we can do multiplayer in ME3!

Actually i have just played and ended ME1 a year ago and never started ME2 and ME3 is a long shot. We'll play ME3 alright but not for atleast a month or 2 maybe.

P.S- Please refrain from posting anything else but Dues Ex. Also as my dues ex is completed if possible mods can close/delete the thread.

Woah, you finished the original Deus Ex in 10 hours ? I am amazed...

^ Yup i was kind of like very much involved in the game.
<
but maybe it could have 11hours max, not more than that.
<

Will start this shortly. I suggest you do play DE1 though. Me liked it.
<

I may not like the look and feel of the old game. It interests me only if the game is graphically good or has lot to do in gameplay. I dont think Dues Ex has multiple things and its linear most of the times (to the extent i have played HR).

Augmentation (the right one) is pretty important to progress well in the game. There are chances that u get stuck at certain points if u do not augment the right abilities at right times.

Infact i had to play it from start because of this after 4 missions.
<
I know we can do the mission alternatively as well.. but again u need the right augmentation there as well
<

Man am i glad i played Dues Ex 1 first, I saw some gameplay videos of HR and graphics are like wow-v-kazauwi compared to the one i played.
<

P.S - Now don't say there is a 10 years gap in both games and blah blah..cause i know that.
<
But still.

#[member='Gannu'], yeah, you are right... there was indeed System Shock 2. Unfortunately, I never played it until it was too late... in an era, when it refused to play on my computer.

#[member='rakesh_ic'], DS1 was much more forgiving that ways, and offered more elaborate and straight forward role playing elements. DS3, I hate to say it, I didnt like much at all... in fact, didnt even proceed beyond the first boss.
