I am so glad that the reviews are saying that this is one game that, really turned out as gamers expected and even more, in a positive manner..The same cant be said of many recent games. Now, I just need finish the first one which I stopped midway recently due to time constraints..

Say that again for Duke Nuk'Em -- how to ruin a franchise? --> please can it for ~12 years and then release it in its most crappiest form till date in all spheres [gameplay / sound / grapics = Duke Nuk'Em FOREVER] and then threaten reviewers that we'll not send you any copy of later titles.

Anyways I'm hung-over The Witcher 2 [witnessed 3 endings, 13 to go].

Dam it! I'm stuck
on the boss fight with Barret. This guy is insane. Been trying since last night and spent an hour today morning trying to beat him. The worst part is that we don't have any health meter for the boss. :(

Yea thats what. Buggers, havent updated the exact release date. As amazing as FlipKart is, they seriously need to improve their pre-ordering system.

IMV absence of health meter adds a natural feeling to it.It becomes more challenging.

I've only seen strictly first person or third person games so far. The switching of the camera to third person during cover seems clunky. How good is it?

Feels very natural. You might find popping in and out a bit jarring at first, but I got used to it quickly. Third person view is very useful in the stealth mode, takes the guess work out of estimating the line of sight of the enemy.

Finally cleared the boss battle. Good to finally get a game with challenging boss fight. Now one more side quest to take care of, before I leave Detroit and head out to Hengsha (China).

Anyways i can revert back to lethal way finding the non lethal way quite difficult.

Why do you need to revert? Just buy new weapons and dispose off the ones you got for non-lethal method. AFAIK, the difficulty won't change, even if you had picked the lethal method, just the way you approach a mission would change. Also the amount of XP you gain from non-lethal approach would be far greater, i.e. if you ACTUALLY complete the whole mission undetected.

Got the Steam Version though more expensive.....Why am I a Steam Addict???

....can't wait to start once back home...Looking forward to a Deus Ex weekend :)

Indian PC version for about Rs900 also there. Check nextworld, flipkart, etc etc :D

Hmm, Ebay ships on 29th onwards, so will be able to play only next weekend.

@Infected - Dude, please post whether it's worth 50 USD and 8GB D/L ?

...for me its been like a 18gb download so far :P (ahem , then Second Disk, Comics etc. )

...looking at the reviews it seems to be worth it....but I think the Indian version is available someone mentioned at a much cheaper rate.

And for those wondering about its performance:

Let’s move on to graphics card performance. At low (but attractive) settings using DirectX 9, the game runs smoothly on a GeForce GT 240 GDDR5 or Radeon HD 6570 at 1680x1050. Maximum detail at 1920x1080 with AA enabled requires only a Radeon HD 5770 or GeForce GTX 550 Ti for a minimum frame rate above 35 FPS. This is outstanding, as the game necessitates a relatively small cash investment in graphics for excellent frame rates.

On the other hand, this release requires a decent CPU. And if you're still rocking a dual-core processor, you'll want something in the range of Intel's Sandy Bridge-based Core i3 with Hyper-Threading. One of AMD’s triple-core processors will also do the job, but make sure it's running at at least 2.5 GHz.
