Hey guys,
I have a few ideas for iPhone applications, both native and web apps, and would like to know how to go about it.
Basically, I'm not a techie(a total noob at s/w development), and I don't even know where to start. But I know what i want as far as the content, interface and functionality is concerned. I need to know what sort of skill set is required for developing such apps for the iPhone, so that I can approach professionals and take this forward.
iPhone Dev Center

Or, if any of you guys feel you can help me develop such apps or know people who can do that, then please let me know..

Thanks a bunch

I think you will get a better response if you ask for help on hackint0sh forum :)

Btw, I was also thinking about starting development for iPhone.

Personally I believe that the EULA for the iPhone SDK is way to restrictive. It is made to ensure that "hobby developers" can't make stuff for the iPhone. To top it off, to have your app run on a "non-jailbroken" iPhone, it needs to be signed. You'll have to pay $$ to get that digital signature (Also a $99 developer license, how sad is that?).

If you wish to develop apps for mobiles, I'd suggest start using J2ME. Pick up the Eclipse SDK and google around for tutorials on setting up a J2ME development environment to get started.

i'm not looking at developing apps for any mobile.. it is solely for the iPhone..

and I don't mind spending a few bucks to get started.. I'm not even looking at generating income out of the project.. but i'm serious about developing a India-centric-customized app targeted at business users..

I cannot do the tech work myself, aint got the time or the expertise.. i need technical resources who can develop the app for me(for a price or development credit..)
