By gods in heaven, could this really be true? :ohyeah:

It looks as though a Devil May Cry collection could possibly be announced at E3 next week, if a source close to Gematsu (formerly ScrawlFX) is correct.

According to a person close to the matter, the HD collection will be in commemoration of the series’ 10th anniversary, which saw its first release back in 2001.

The source also teased another HD collection set for an announcement, but refused to be drawn in on what it was, only to say it will be a “dark, dirty, and dangerous collection.â€

Possibilities on that last one could be endless, so we refuse to speculate. The rest of you feel free to, though.

E3 runs from June 6-9. Prepare yourselves accordingly.

Nothing for 360? No HDs? I am now regretting for buying it..

If it's any consolation, MGS collection is going to come out for both; PS3 & 360.

Yay! Mgs HD Collection finally! Good thing I didnt ruin my experience by playing Mgs3 on pcsx2 emulator..

It was only a matter of time before this was made official, but Capcom finally came through with the announcement of HD Trilogy being released for both; PS3 and Xbox 360 platform.

London, UK. – Oct. 17, 2011 – Capcom®, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced Devil May Cry™ HD Collection for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. Devil May Cry™ HD Collection brings the first three original Devil May Cry® titles; Devil May Cry™, Devil May Cry™2, and Devil May Cry™ 3: Dante’s Awakening Special Edition together in one high definition package for the first time. Yeah. Unfortunately, most of these re-mastered versions are usually for consoles. :(

YAY awesome news for the masses! Haven't played the first two titles so I am definitely looking forward for this one. Besides, 3 games in a package is completely worth it wOOt! :D

Makes me wonder why do they want to release the remastered versions just for the consoles? And IINM the PS3 has seen more remastered versions over the X360.
 
Most of these re-mastered games have been console exclusives or have had shitty PC ports. Sony initiated this move by introducing God of War collection and then the whole "re-mastering" trend set off. The reason PS3 has had more HD re-mastering is because they have always maintained a high exclusivity library with the PS2 titles. The original Xbox hardly had much to offer in terms of exclusive games, so besides Halo, you won't see any older games coming out on the 360. Consoles would obviously generate more sales for these games. I mean who would pay 2.4k for Tomb Raider Trilogy or Splinter Cell HD Collection, when the same is available for the PC for half it's price and with true HD graphics?

Planning to take this up after I am done with Reckoning. Any idea how lengthy is DMC and DMC 2? 8~10 hours tops each?

I think I'll give DMC 3 a shot once more. Don't remember jack!

The first game is about 11 hours, depending on how fast you adapt to the gameplay. The combat won't be as robust as DMC3 or DMC4, but you'll still have to spend some time farming orbs, upgrades and boosting up your style meter. I haven't played DMC2, so no clue how long that is. Left it mainly because it was criticized heavily. I do plan to take it up later though.
 
ScreenShots brought back all the DMC memories seriously.
