I'm deciding between a DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL and an Abit IP35-E for a E2180.

My preferences are...

  • Price
  • Overclocking and Stability
  • Cooling
  • Acceptability of a CPU cooler on the motherboard
  • Durability

Thanks in advance.

where will you obtain the bloodiron from in india?
its not available unless you source it from the US which would make the price equivalent to newer p45 boards

DFI one is better it has more features , better overclocking , supports RAID , more sata and USB ports .

I spoke to PrimeABGB. They said that DFI Blood Iron will be available in 15 days.

Prime getting DFI??

interesting..

shouldnt you be looking at the P45 series rather than P35?

I have a low budget and Abit IP35-E and DFI BloodIron P35-T2RL fit into that for the E2180 nicely.

I haven't been suggested any of the P45 motherboards from anybody here on TE. Are there any? :)

but is there really any major difference between p35 and p45 except if u want to go for crossfire and its good otherwise p35 is a very good chipset go with dfi p35

dude just called prime and meenal told that they have no idea when the board will come so better get abit ip35-e

DFI motherboards are in most cases better than ABIT or any other brand for that matter, but the cache is they always come at a premium. Make sure u are convinced yourself that the sum u spent is worth it.
