Lets see when they lauch it PAN India. Cant wait for 2 mbps UL @ 1999 :D:D

Btw I am enjoying 2.2 (constant 300-310 KB/s) mbps UL for last 1 week on my Airtel BB in Explore 1099 plan :D

These Speed Caps applicable?

1 Mbps till 25 GB, 512 kbps beyond 25 GB Rs.1399 Plan

2 Mbps till 30 GB, 1 Mbps after 30 GB Rs.1999 Plan

The FUP limit on each plan sucks.

The unaccounted download in Airtel's case is from 10 P.M. - 6 A.M. for Tata I think it is 10 P.M. - 8 A.M.

Not to mention how quickly these guys change plans.

The plan looks really good. Does FUP apply to Turbo 1099 ?? hows the service in Navi Mumbai area. ?

@agm_105: FUP applies on anything beyond 256 kbps. If a plan called 257 kbps or simply 256.0001 kbps UL was present then FUP would be applied on that as well. Don't trust Airtel's website blindly. Click on all links mentioned on the page of the plan and look for '*' marks and notes.

Within a month, I was sicked of FUP on my swift 1099 plan. 15 days, and they said the limit was crossed. Although some part goes to torrenting, but this time I had downloaded way too many IIT and MIT video lectures.

BAck to 256kbps now. Thinking of moving to MTNL; Bad service is better than low speed.

These plans are useless when FUP comes into place...

i used 2BMPS night UL from BSNL and still download 4.1GB per day.... If I did the same in airtel i will cross thier FUP limit in 15-20 days:@

BSNL rocks

I changed my plan to 2mbps a few days back... getting 230KB/s download speed... too bad it would be back to normal 1 mbps after 30 gb which should be up by today :P

Airtel is playing wierd in punjab.

Awesome VFM plans for ludhiana but they dont exist for rest of punjab :@

Punjab: Rs. 599 p.m. -> 256kbps UL

Ludhiana Only: Rs. 499 p.m. -> 1Mbps till 5GB FUP, then 256kbps UL + Rs.200 Airtel-Airtel call value free.

Being an online gamer & rare downloader, im so jealous of this plan!

Hah! 1200 pm for 2MBPs unlimited (TRULY unlimited!) Five Network in Mumbai, along with access to an awesome DC++ hub.

^That's the one. Upgraded my older plan to that, getting 1.7-1.8 MBPs constantly, and it goes up to 2 at night. 200-210 kB/s on torrents.
