ok, now to the next bit.
no one would've taken a drunk guy's side... so, AMG had an upperhand throughout this incident. that's another thing that he didn't choose to report it to his dear warden.

Who the **** said I'm a senior.
(Though I being a PG, I am technically senior to him

...
He's a final year student. In a ****ing 5 year course.
Obviously, he's more connected than me.
so you mean to say that your 'connection' to chief warden wasn't that strong? or, you chose to forgive him? i bet the drunk guy would've thought the same about you :p (let's forgive this kid!)

Why the **** am I still discussing an incident which I've forgiven and forgotten.

PS: Criminal, I forgive you too,

So long as he had witnesses willing to testify. Otherwise its his word against another.

There is a quirk in India that is crazy. if you've got money to spend, you can hire a proxy to take the rap for you in court. Had this happen to a friend out walking his dogs, gets into an altercation with a bunch of guys, the cops show up do nothing. All he has is a witness. They go to court in the coming days. the guys who did the deed did not show up, all proxies.

Can we close this thread before everything gets out of hand.
At first some guys tell him that he did the right thing. Then someone comes and says he did wrong. Then another smartass comes and says he shouldn't have even asked the question in the first place.
And if staring at someone can be tantamount to getting beaten for, why does that guy get pardoned for being a drunk and smelling awful in a public place and that too a hostel where I am pretty sure it is a punishable offense. Drunks are awful nuisance and the more the get put in their place, the better.
