So Just When U guys thot u had the collection wid u and So Proudly Owned the DIE HARD DVD ..... Along Comes a Movie Which renders ur collection absolutely and Sooo Incomplete

Name : Die Hard 4

Star Cast : Bruce Willis And Some Side Kicks

Genre : Mindless Action.

Edit : Mindless Action wid a Plot.

Now This is one movie for all the computer Geeks out there..

BEWARE All those ppl who THOUGHT they knew abt the word HACKING .. DONT see the movie cuz this certainly wil make u forget that u actually ever had the passion.

The Movie Has Mr John Mclane again wid his signature action thrill filled life.. and he takes it onto another level now.

Absolutely picking up from where he had left it .. he carries on and on .

Life is a cruel thing .. Maybe esp in America which we Indians fail to notice.. and more so if u got kids who dont wanna understand u..

But the script is all good for good ol' Mclane.

The movie has a crazy Hacker Boss who rallies his team against the USA and the NYPD .. taking down vitually every system controlled by Computers, leaving evrything around in chaos .. bt surely u can count on Mr Mclane to be the thorn in the Flesh as he teams up wid a hacker prodigy.

Harder as the Hacker Boss mite try .. the cop wont budge and proves quite a handful for his super freak ideas and equally freakish hacking team, Even as he gets Mclane's daughter is in his hold.

The movie has a good pace at which it rushes and wid the amount of action it has got, u surely dont get a breather as some of them are really killer ones.. Watch out for the action sequence in the tunnel .. .

The amount of Eyecandies that is there in the movie wil leave u wondering if u wd hv been allowed on the sets for jst once, that wd hv been ur Culmination. And by eyecandies i dont mean chicks here pls.

The gadgets and gizmos used in the movies are the most that i ve seen til now .. pardon me if i ve been ignorant in the past.

The Second half is stil more on the Considerate side in comparison. The Grafix really are top notch and wid Mr Mclane executing stunts by the drop of the Hat u can easily ignore any chit chats that so effulgently keeps emanating in our movie halls.

Guys trust me on this .. dont try to procure it from a local library .. Watch it on the screen for once at the least .. u r not gonna be disappointed..

Add ur 2 cents pls wen u hv seen the movie.. i didn really mentioned any spoilers here .
 
nope..it doesn't really matter anymore. i'm very sure, TE and FE have now established themselves as independent entities. if u look at it, the entertainment sections on FE are fairly organized while on TE, its more like "discuss anything and everything under the sun as long its legal" in the same section.

to complicate matters further, your post count doesn't increase when u post in gen talk section and it remains inaccessible to web crawlers. So, feel free to discuss anything as often as u like. ;)
 
It got good and a half from Hindustan Times, critics are appreciating it.

Though I gotta see Die Hard 2 and 3 before this one first :P

and FE still remains the prime destination for organized masti/fun/entertainment. ;)

lol..firstly, u shud be grateful to us for allowing your post here. :P

secondly, we are sorry if we've indeed ruined ur post..believe me it was totally unintentional. it was very important to clarify a few points regarding FE and TE. now that its done, you won't have any troubles continuing with your "die hard" discussions. ;)

and i'm waiting for reviews as well...i've plans to watch the movie this comin week.
 
Rotten Tomatoes has rated Die Hard 4.0 better than Die Hard 2 and 3. I'd wager that if Die Hard 4 had remained an R-rated movie instead of PG-13 then it would have come very, very close to the first Die Hard in terms of ratings. :)
 
peeps in vrz said it was more of a rehash of the previous movies with a bit of modernization.. but its got good ratings in imdb and few other places.. anyways am waiting to see it and judge for myself :D

ahem... u make it sound reeally important....like, "It is very important to clarify the confusion between east and west or we run a risk of nuclear war"...lol.. :tongue:

Cant get my lazy ass to see the old man...... though the first three were kinda light entertainment....
 
I watched Die Hard 1 yesterday (for the nth time :P ). And it was superb as usual !!

I hope die Hard 4 is like that instead of Die Hard 2 or 3. they werent so good...

It's not such a great flick. Like the thread starter stated, mindless movie with awesome action & stunts, and that's exactly what it is.

Great action, should watch it in the theater to appreciate it, definitely not worth a second watch though. Not to mention, the plot is lousy.
 
Die Hard fans will love the movie, action-packed just like the previous ones. Bruce Willis delivers the goods in what might be the last movie in the Die Hard series (for him at least).
