digi cam for 13k

and i need better zoomquality than MP... sony/ cannon prefered..

Seriously, one person got it for 11K with b&w from a shop in Dehradun (with a Canon case and 1GB card) and another got it from the same shop for 10K with b&w. In the latter case, there was some explanation that the camera was cheaper because Canon sends them a few sample/show pieces, or that they use them as replacements for warranty issues, or something like that. I know it doesn't make sense. But there is a proper bill, both cameras are fully genuine and new, and work perfectly.

iXus 80IS is now Rs. 9,900 on ebay, but I don't know if that's with proper bill and warranty or not. (Often when they say "1 Year Warranty" they mean the dealer's local warranty and not Canon's).

Ixus 90IS similarly is available for Rs. 11,400.

Canon IXUS 870 IS is for around 12.5k here with warranty (1yr dealer warranty I guess) if you need zoom yu could try to get the Panasonic TZ4(TZ11) else extend the budget and get the SX110

else zoom is what you want then take a look at the canon powershot sx100. slightly overbudget but worth it.
