If you want a superzoom for 13k, then go for a Kodak Z1012 for 13.5k at Croma. It is one of the recommended superzooms at Steves cameras.

Else if you want to spend a little more, you can get a Canon S5/S3 for about 15k for slightly better picture quality (marginal).

i will go for either kodak z series or cannon s100 what do you say?
 
As others have said, opt for the 590IS...or if you can haggle, the 720IS....which is a great cam!

Stay away from Kodak though...

hey i was looking for a good zoom camera .... minimum 8x or 10x so which one should i buy?
 
Got a Panasonic LZ8 for 5k from ebay.in. Includes a 2GB SD card

32mm wide-160mm tele lens, tiny, runs on two AA cells, 2.5" LCD, Venus 4 image processing engine. For sheer value, it can't be beaten.
