Depends on what kind of tripod you are looking out for ...you can get cheap ones for 500 bucks, whereas the better and the sturdy ones (manfrotto) will cost you upwards of 2K depending which you chose.

I bought a cheap one for 500 bucks from an exhibition but its crap. I regret buying it, i'd rather have spent some extra bucks to get a real sturdy one with a ball head.

Also, I noticed that you had dates printed on the snaps...GET RID OF IT...absolutely no no for photography...

Have you edited any of these ? Very honestly, they are very average (not that I am a photographer having credentials to criticize). Most of them are blurred because of hand shake and the composition of all is below par. Try and follow the rule of thirds for all your photographs. Somehow your photos are very flat (no depth in them). Also avoid shooting in Auto mode if possible.

IIRC, Manfrotto starts at 8~9k and upwards..

He may be correct. I am not quite sure about Manfrotto except that its one of the best out there.

Won't Manfrotto monopods be available within 2K ?
