Malayalam film director Jayaraj could be well on his way to be featured in the Guinness Book of World Records for making a feature film in the shortest span of time.

He has made a 71-minute long movie in just 2 hours 14 minutes.
The director originally planned to make the movie, Adbhutam (Wonder) in ten hours. But he out performed his own expectations and finished the movie in just over two hours at Ramoji Film City on Monday.

Film makers D Ramanaidu and C C Reddy were on the sets as observers for the record in the making.

For the movie, a hospital set was recreated with a single camera moving between the doctor's room, the lobby and the patient's room. As many as 60 artists including several foreigners performed in the film.

The entire crew has been in the Film City for the past seven days rehearsing the movie so that it can be shot in as little time as possible.
Sketches of each artistes position and movement were distributed to all. We made the movie at least seven times to check for the camera positions and synchronised movements that had to be perfected for the final take," director Jayaraj told The Times of India on Monday.
