nice article! long time back i had opened my old creative cd drive and put it back together.

putting it back together was not easy because it took me abt 15 mins just to put the flat cable back

i had opened my cd drive in my old comp when a cd blasted inside!!! :S :O

the cd was broken in bits, the front part of the cd tray went flying!!

i opened the drive, removed all the bits and pieces.

and guess what? the drive is working just fine now!

OMG :O Now I realized I opened my old Combo drive without any precautions never knew that I could be blind by doing that mischief :O
