Disaster with Flipkart

The phone I got recently from amazon came in an amazing tamperproof packaging with instructions to open it before the courier guy. I think these new packages are pretty hard to tamper with?

This is in case the courier decides to tamper with it. What if the 3rd party seller decides to send a stone/soap etc? The entire system needs an overhaul with more accountability and buyer protection.

If the package is tamper proof, then problem is directly traced to seller no?

Everything can be tampered with, it just takes more time (and money) to do it. It needs to justify the time and cost.
