Storage Solutions Disk read errors ?

I got a new computer system with intel core 2 duo e6300 , a intel 965 motherboard and a seagate 320 Gb sata hard disk drive.It worked perfectly for 2-3 days and all of a sudden i started getting disk read errors,also my boot has become dam slow as compared to before.i am using the onbord display adapter.
What could be the problem ?
 
may b u surfed the net intensively and downloaded some virus.do u have any anti virus software installed?get ur system scanned for trojan etc.may be spy boat can help
