Just finished structuring my DIY case.
Am uploading some pics.

I could swear I've seen that Arctic Cooler logo somewhere else, just can't remember where.

Nice effort, but the last mile needs work. To wit - cable management, cable management - sleeving, routing, concealing.

Do that, and it will be a killer looking case.

Did you consider smoked/coloured acrylic?
 
haha.. the cooler is running great.

yea i know...i havent finished the setup yet.

need to cut slots for the optical drive ..

Cable management is also in progress.

I had a variety of acrylic colors to choose from..

But i always wanted teh clear one.
 
^^ ya man this clear one looks sexy...

i think the height of ur case is slightly big and looks weird... anyways amazing DIY!! it should come in ROTM :) also show us guides and tutorials how u did that... even i plan tht but cant buy amigo case which is about 4.5k so this would turn out to be cheap..

I know the height is a lil weird.. got the dimesions a lil wrong.

btw..this want cheap to build at all..

total cost went beyond 2K.

It also took a lot of effort to build.

Its not even 60% ready as yet.

JUst finished mounting the structure.

Had an acrylic case for two years back in P4 (pre-HT) days... it was difficult to sleep with all the lights running in the case.. lol. Reminded me those days.

But, To build one from ground up.. I see lot of efforts there. Good job mate. Keep us posted with progress.

Also, like Sangram said... did u consider smoked acrylic? I think that would look sweet.

had bought 6mm lucite sheets for about 3K some 3-4 years back to make a case. ended up shevling it, was too friggin heavy :S

looks real nice :D
