Guys ,

i Am Interested In Making Headphone stands With Great Variations And Sell Them ,Can i Have some Ideas From Some Of you For The Same ,Links to Some Great Designs So That i can have a clearer picture

You want to manufacture a product, sell it and thereby make money off of it.

BUT, you want people on TE to design it for you/help you design it??

You get all the money that you could (hypothetically), make off of it. What do they get in return?

Lol ,

Have You Seen One yourself ,If You Have Nothing to Contribute Buzz off .Secondly We Are sharing Some Ideas .You Have a suggestion pour in .Might Be you Could Design One and sell to us .Designing a Product and selling the same is a hard process and takes time .Your theory of what will We Get In Return " Lol " Is Senseless Cos You will Get a Finished Product At The Cheapest Cost Without the hassles of making one yourself .This Kiddish Question Could Have Been Answered By a Small Kid Also .anything Else ?

PS : One More Thing i did hang on a second and then left it lol

I have this and does my job .It can be used vertically or horizontally.Try going the DIY way but turned out tooo expensive.

NOTE: these stands are simple looking and Look awesome ( to me) , But they are very-very hard to make IMO.

@stalker : He is not asking us to make the product, he is just asking for ideas. In Fiio X3 Thread on head fi , in that thread Fiio is taking innovative ideas from Members on head fi !

So i think nothing is wrong in taking ideas.

It will be cheaper for us also.

On the other hand if he offers some discount to us, that will be even better :D

if you need some inspiration those omega stands posted in this thread are awesome,also have a look at Stax HPS-2
 
Amarbir you should remember that, Headphone stand is something artistic, so even small thing like polish, angle of cut, symmetry , color, etc. Makes a LOT of difference , and anything off can ruin the product.

and yeah the omega stand IS THE BEST stand !
 
I saw something like those omega stands at a local furniture workshop when I went there for some a computer table... Will google(lol) him for more info...
 
@strategy: go easy on the hotlinked images! Post them on an imagehost or simply post their links here. You are leeching their bandwidth when you do this.

My Idea Is That The Top Should Be Scalable Means It Should Be Able To Enlarge Itself so That We Could Fit 2 or More Headphones in It ,then There Should Be Hooks at the back and front so that we could also hang the IEMS .Then There Should Be a Small Drawer So That We Could Add Portable Amps In There ,Then We Should Also Look At Bright Idea You People Have ,I Do Have This in Mind But i was also interested in everyone idea ,This is Particular is very Modern Looking And Possible Very Cheap To Produce .Thanks For The Effort you put into it

the omega stand is the same stand that i posted ( first pic in my post ) , which i called the best of them all.

Desecrater, point noted , will edit my post , thanks ! :)
 
I just hang them on the chair. Never really felt any need to get one of these things to increase the clutter on the table.
 
a Headphone has to be taken care .

hanging on the chair is very risky !!

More over different companies around the world spend loads of cash to design the HP, we pay loads of cash to buy them , why not spend little cash to take care of them ! :D
