do i need an upgrade

asus p5wdh deluxe mobo

the pcie 16x is supposed to be v1. but cant confirm that. can someone confirm

4gb ddr2
geforce 9600gt

i use it for multimedia development. should i upgrade or run this till one component fails?

It depends on you If the performance is satisfactory then why upgrade?

P.S: Its not a good time to upgrade now considering your current specs. Wait for the revised Sandy Bridge mobos and Bulldozer in case you decide to upgrade.
