How good is the SQ in Amp3 Pro2? I of course am not comfortable buying it because
a) I do not have too much money left to "splurge"
b) It may be powerful, but it's UI, hiss (reported by some), battery life (8 hours? which is understandable due to the hi-fi config) etc., are an issue with daily usage. It also lacks gapless, which I need for some of the albums e.g., Opeth's MAYH etc.,
Besides, reading through this thread at head-fi here gives me the impression that it may be an upgrade to D2+/S9/Sony X-Series/Clip+, but not in a huge way. On this, what is your impression of Amp3 Vs D2 / Clip+? Is this a great upgrade, which will make one forgive it's usability and drool over it's SQ? (I'd trust your first hand impression more)
