If its the same source engine then Episode 3, and if theres a new source engine then HL3.

It'll mostly be called HL2:EP3,Valve always takes their time with things. And looking at the way things are going at valve, I will probably get married and have kids before HL3 releases.:p
But as along as valve delivers I'm not complaining.HL2 was killer!!

Seriously I'm a fan too, I gave up. There are better games than Half Life series, and everyone deep down knows that.

From what I read somewhere, Gabe said that Valve is done with SP games, after Portal 2.

He means that Portal 3 will be Co-op only :p

Do you really think they will kill such a fab franchise. Don't think so. HL2:EP3 will surface sooner then later.

Not everyone will agree to that. :p

IMO Half Life series beats anything else hands down. :D

I know the wait is killing. But I don't mind the wait as long as I know that Valve is going to deliver an amazing game. :D

Ah thanks for that clarification. I had read it a while ago and couldn't remember the details. But meh. I got 100% achievments in Portal 2 anyway. I'm happy.

HL2:EP3 if same source engine ... but since they plan to release DOTA - 2 and Counter Strike 2 :S .. I think it will be HL3 :/

^^ counter strike 2 ? no info on any such game yet.

and dota 2 has been in development since 2009 - and it is gonna run on a modified version of the current source engine.

Half life 2 was released in 2005. Ep1 and ep2 were released in 2006 and 2007 and both of them were shortet than hl2. Valve made it's point that the episodes were mere additions to the hl2 story. However it's been 4 years since the ep2. And the next thing will not be a humble "episode". It will be a full blown half life 3, and it will be a big release. I'm sure of that.
