Laptops Does anybody here have eMachines e725 Laptop ?

I bought an Acer eMachines e725 Laptop around 2 years back. For some strange reason, the RAM slot does not fit new Transcend DDR2-800MHz Laptop RAM. The small "cut" in the RAM which is supposed to slot into the RAM holder is too far away from the notch in my RAM slot.

Will post pics after a day or two to give a better explaination. Any help from other owners welcome.

emachines have ddr3 ram I feel . Since I bought it 2 years back and has DDR 3 Ram in it ...2+1 GB

Might be DDR3. AFAIK, it will have the GL40
