I was looking for similar light weight but long lasting microswitch for my logi mouse last year and came across this video which raises some good points-
Then I saw a slew of companies releasing their products with kailh gm 8.0 or 4.0s. Just a few months in then came double click complaints from gm 8.0 switches on reddit.
From all these I gathered that any electrical microswitch for mouse may develop double click/chatter issue with time due to their inherent mechanism and implementation by the mouse manufacturer. (The reason why huano switches lasts quite a while given most of the mice use them with their specified voltage around 3-3.3v, but they have heavy and blunt clicks)
From the above video there is one unique Honeywell switch being mentioned which uses spring based clicks and they are light weight. But you would have to them buy from tanotis-

And lastly good ol Japanese omrons d2f-

The 01T variant has PCB clip legs which would have to be straightened out before soldering-

What I settled on was the cooler master mm720 with optical switches XD.
They use the same branded razer optical switches (v2) from LK and are lightweight and durable. (Even if they break down you can easily swap them out without soldering)

any mechanical switch can and will fail over time, some fail sooner than others because you cannot control the manufacturing process that much to guarantee every single switch coming out of a factory while keeping the price down.
I have used the factory Omron's that most mice ship with, Kailh gm8.0's and Huano's pink dot blue shell switches so far (but at the end of the day its preference). TTC's switches are by far the lightest offerings.
I like the Huano's the most but they are harder to get in India.
As for the rotary encoders I'm fine with most stock ones, but I have heard others say that Kailh's encoders aren't very good.
