I am trying to deposit some money to paytm bank but it keeps getting rejected.

Why do you really need to keep an account open that has no money and is blocked from all transactions? Better to close it upfront.I had an account with them, but as rbi imposed restrictions on them, I withdrew my money.. Recently, I've started getting texts from that keep reminding me that my account is inactive and if there is no transaction, it will become inoperative.. :/ IDK what to do now, shall I just ignore those messages?
In the hope that rbi will eventually allow them to operate again.. I had so much trouble bouncing between their departments to close the PayTM travel card with refund and then to a lesser extent for the payments bank account that I have no trust in their professionalism. I still haven't been able to close my PayTM wallet though because they forcibly created a business account at the time of KYC several years ago and refuse to close the personal account without closing the business one. The business support team simply keeps replying that they have closed the account but they never do.In the hope that rbi will eventually allow them to operate again.. Hearing your story, ig i'll reconsider my decision..
