CPU/Mobo Don't Go For Intel

I have very bad experience with intel india support. If you have any other (there is) good option don't go for intel only attaracting by there mkting gimics or offers. Just think why they need to offer contest if they are No.1

They are not what they suppose to be.

There is various other better choice for Processor and Mother Board. I am not saying that intel is Bad, but SURELY NOT GREAT, try othere availale.

Good you realized that Intel is not that gr8. :cool2:

Here most of us on TE have AMD's and also recommend AMD for there config. :hap2:

There are many other factors that make AMD rock
- Onboard DDR Controller
- System Bandwidth
- Less Heat now with new Socket 939 Venice , SD etc.. proccies
- Excellent Motherboards that have loads of OC features hate that Intel915g mobo
- There are so many proccessors for Socket 939 athlon 64 normal/fx , Dual core , opteron server etc... [Universal Socket 939 Rocks]
- for every new intel proccy there is a new mobo. :mad:
 
Mobo point is not valid. Even new Intel mobos like my P5LD2 on 945 Chipset is awesome.

Intel supports 64 too and Xeon = Opteron.

^^ for every new proccy theres a new mobo is right :p. Lol...

But features of Intel @ added which the old mobo's dont support, so that has to be done. :(.

yeah, have to agree on that....intel mobos r LOADED!!....if only there was some way to use a a64 on the wd2..:D

I agree my english is not gr8.

I am talkig aout intel HT advertisements in various media?

Like Buy PC with Intel HT and win........

As per me if you didn't face any problem with intel products, you are KING (You feel like KING).

But if you face any problem INTEL IS KING (you feel like intel's slave) for there fault you have to accept what they think right for you and you have no right to ask for RIGHT ONE. But if you are mad like me and to contact them your precious working hrs eat by there stupid ONLINE SUPPORT. :huh:

And after few days if they come to know that problem is from there side they starts to give international Phone Numbers and ask you to solve your problme over phone.

And I think if you do your tel. bill cost your near by NEW product for which you are in argue with them.:S

So take my advise and try to use faulty MOBO/Processor till you can and at the end switch to AMD/ASUS or other.

I Mean it.

(e.g.) I opt to go with Intel MOBO for Rs.4000/-, when at the same time ASUS MOBO cost me Rs.2400/-, I think high payment = good quality and my logic go Wrong :mad:

Ok got ur point Mangesh.
But before you got your motherboard u shud has consulted ur frnds for
which on to get or any one on TE would have told you about it.

I dont understand why dont AMD advertise here more on TV like Intel does.
Even if they dont advertise those who know about it will suerly get a AMD.

I also try to tell my friends not to get a intel but still like mad persons
they get a stock intel 915g and that 3Ghz kit , now i have stopped tellin them as its pointless.
 
Brand Name Effect with Mass Advertising and we Indian Jump on Brand and ignore Quality.

(e.g.) In most of grossory stores 75% cutomers buy Other Brand tooth paste but what they ask with shopkeeprs is "Colgate Dena" :( --- Brand Image
 
amd ads i have only seen on ten sports...and that too lance armstrong suggesting it...........
i guess they are sponsering indian team too...and yup what i am seeing this days are people who are regular in tech forums....almost 95%goes with amd...whereas other goes for intel.....jus for name sake( intel i guess r quoted costly than amd...in sense of their motherboards this days(intel original))

my friend who doesnt visit such sites always ask me to give a quote of intel based system...i suggest him amd....but he always keeps crying...they become hot........i tell him thats and old issue...but he is not ready to listen
also this days intel shows its ads on star news channel......some company says they have used this software and got multiplied by 5 times...and they say thanks to intel(how does intel helps them???) amd doesnt support a software or what.........

they r now feeling they are loosing there sales ground here..thats why they giv ads
 
Never buy intel boards atleast if ur really have to go for a Pentium or a celeron. I never installed more than 2 intel orig mobo's in my 4 yrs of hardware selling. server Nic's people say intel but i prefer staying away from intel, 3Com & D-link are way better to perform & prompt in service. nothing else of intel's is of of much hype. So just with the processor ur at the least minimum fear of falling into stupedious & ingenerous hands intel's service.

But im really waiting for a S-939/nforce4 combo under 8000 someday. That will break a big big percentage in the workstation class Of PC's.
 
I just convinced one of my friends to go with a AMD 3200+ and a Asus A8N-E rather tha a 915 and 3 Ghz Intel. :D.

AMD should pay me Commission :p :lol:
