Didnt believe my eyes when i saw this.
I mean they got the DOOM3 running on voodoo2.
of course the GFX looks totally outdated but still. It looks like old Quake2 and HL1 style

I dont belive that is 800x600, that has got to be 640x480. This guy is lying. The game looks a lot better in 800x600 on my GeForce 2.

i have personally downloaded the patch. I have voodoo 5 though. Dont even know if it still works. But i think patch is specifically for voodoo 2.
You can do 1 thing though. Download the glide wrapper and set it to imulate the voodoo2. And then test this yourself. I cant as i gifted my copy of doom3 to a friend.
Its real for sure.

you will need glide wrapper for that i guess.
I still play BLC99 with Glidewrapper than D3D as i prefer the Glide looks of BLC99

The effort is laudable but the end result is that doom3 ends up looking more like a crap game from 1998.

What do you expect on the Voodoo2? It was made prior to 1998
Atleast its running the game now with this patch. And it would be fun to play doom 3 like this
Will be a lot less scary
