DoTA players/servers?

Noob question, i'm not much of a gamer. Is there any one who still plays DoTA via hamachi or any other way? In fact, is there any other way to play it other than using hamachi? I absolutely love DoTA (not too good at it, though) and can't find anyone to play against.
 
^^ I used to play DoTA on Battle.Net untill they rectified the "crack" that we were using, and i was too lazy to buy the game, so i just quit. Sigh, i miss those WCG days. I might just pick it up one of these days, then again maybe not since im busy with work ... i mean WoW. =)

To Sum it Up :- Play with battle.net
Play on the asian server
Play with Malaysian / Singaporean hosted games (Avoid koreans they are too good, the others are just n00b @$$'s)
 
^ how many year have u play dota if u want u battle between u and me

if u are newbie at garrena this is best one i use mostly

i have play dota 4 year
 
I used to play on GGClient mostly..on battle.net you find mostly US or SG servers..and they kick you for being Indian :P
 
DotA is the one game which is even more popular than CS1.6 in India.
We thrive on finding the faltu'est games out there and playing them 24x7x365x10 :P.

And we don't have even a single Indian TF2 server.

@ashr- I did log on using Garena last night but couldn't figure out how to play with people. Quite embarrassing. So I join any india room and chat people up and start game? If I host, everyone in that room should see it right? Or if other people are hosting I should be able to see it which I never see (LAN menu warcraft). However I can successfully watch live games on GGtv.
 
"Dota" is not a game. Its just a map for WCIII with a set of predefined rules / behaviour. I think they have another name apart from "Map", not sure.
Its somewhat like tower defence, but employs additional rpg elements.
Fun + Addictive
And NO they dont kick you out of a server in SG for being an indian, they kick you for high latency, and if your on airtel ur ping should be at 100-200 ms or something, which is acceptable for a lag free game.
 
^^Ive played on b.net for more than 1 year...trust me they used to kick me.And my ping was always <150 ms

theyre just called Custom Games (dota,td,ToB etc)
