Hi!
I started this thread not because of problem i am facing right now. I just wanna know about this and wanna clear my doubt since i had this problem few times in the last 1 year (may 3 times)
This is it...
For the first i was trying to tweak my pc and did something (really dont remember what all i did on that day) tried several and added some patch visited many sites (no antivirus was installed) and i shutdown my pc.
When i turn on my pc next day it started as usual and i dont task bar...
I asked tech support guys to help out of this. They tried and finally found that the so called "explorer.exe" file is missing. And they re install the OS.
Again the same problem came after few months and same reinstall process happened.
And finally two weeks back i faced this. My friend was using the pc. Actually he was burning a dvd and just staring at the monitor (since the burning process is slow he didnt wanna to use some other application and steal the memory) And he tried to visit some websites and connected his card reader, and pen drive. (i doubt that, the problem has come from these connections)
And after few minutes system stucked but still burning was on process and went successfully. After that i tried to repair by using bootable CD. Even after that i end up unsuccessfull. So i decided to reinstall the OS like all the time i did.
Since i have problem with my UPS and power connection in my area and several other factors let this (reinstalling) complete in two weeks. (you can find several posts of mine in this two weeks and gotta knew y it took two weeks). I dont want this to happen again. So is this possible to copy the so called file "explorer.exe" and save it another location and/or have a back up in cd or something or in other drives and locate that file when its missing and run the system.
Is this possible?
Or i am talking like an idiot? (knowing nothing about PC)
or are there any other solution other than reinstalling the OS??
u may think that i stretched too long to ask a small doubt...
I wanna make the things very clear so that u guys can give solutions
