bottomline:
please tell me if this is the right price, and if i can get this anywhere in india, so as to avoid all the importing and customs hassels..
if there is no way out...the only way i can get my hands on this is by starting a GO...get atleast 100 people interested and go ahead with the import.

I don't really know.

I was talking about 'trying' to build it.

Will require extensive research to find out a way to get a fan that keeps the bot sucked to the wall (I can't think of any other implementation ) and/or keeping the bot lightweight enough to enable that.

As slim as the chances of that happening are, if I ever give it a shot, I'll let you know
