Drip watering system recommendations?

I want to try out some drip watering system to water my plants, all of which are in pots. How well do these systems work? I don't mind buying something that requires a bit of hacking or tweaking as long as it can get the job done.
The time spent watering is not much tbh, and the main motivation is not missing days, either because I forgot to water them or when we leave the house. Some plants go dead in just a couple of days in this heat without water.

NIVAVE Pro - Plants Automatic Drip Watering Wick Cord Spike for 15-30 Days Holiday/Hydroponic NFT String Rope (1/5 inch, Light & Dark Green, 5 mm, 30 feet) https://amzn.in/d/5TYisSq
I use the above for the plants in balcony. Very effective especially when travelling. The Wick Cord can be cut according to the size needed. This can be used with bucket also and water can be filled as per requirement.

Can you share a picture of your setup if possible.

This is what I got for our house this January https://www.amazon.in/gp/product/B07GMVDTH1

I have directly connected this system to corporation tap (so it waters once in a couple of days, no timer needed). Took a whole morning to set it up for about 80+ plants and trees. It was easy. The thumbs were numb for a month, but apart from that, no complaints. Works fine.

How does it work? Looks like you would still have to remember to turn on/off the tap?

This looks like an easy solution and appears to be effective from the reviews. We were looking at it for our flowering plant pots.
How do you use it and calculate the amount of water ? If with a bucket I presume it needs to be placed on a higher ground.

I'm travelling, will get back and take a few pics and share it.

If I travel for 3 to 4 days I usually use the 2lts bottle (pepsi/coke). The water in the 2lts bottle lasts for 3 days and the plant/sand stay hydrated for another 2 days even if the water in the bottle dries up. For long travel of few weeks I usually use the 20lts water can and yes it needs to be kept little elevated on a chair or stool. A 20lts can can support 8 to 10 plants for 4 to 5 days. Only problem during summer is the water gets evaporated too soon if there is direct sunlight. I cover the 20lts can with a cloth cover so that the water does not gets evaporated too fast.
