With google about to launch 'Google Drive' . Microsoft is also planning some upgrades to their already existing cloud storage 'Sky Drive' .They launched a drop box style software for windows,Mac,windows phone,iPhone & iPad. As usually they are not bothered about the linux crowd but interestingly no Android also. Here is the link for downloading the software - https://apps.live.com/skydrive

Yes, but SkyDrive is more powerful than Dropbox considering you can access files on the machine even if they are not in the Sky Drive folder!
 
Dropbox is probably the hottest new tech company now but their idea is being replicated by the competition... Wonder how they will deal with the competition.... But I have been trusting dropbox for a long time... Which is very important for me...

Nokia had a similar Ovi service which was closed down... I will take the 25gb for now but wont be putting any important stuff inside it... Dont trust them until they prove they are reliable

EDIT : Great the app doesn't work for Snow Leopard... Dropbox wins this round for sure

^ SkyDrive has been around for longer than Dropbox or any of these guys. Strangely however MS never really pushed the product
 
^I know but by competition I meant that new cloud services like icloud, google drive...

But dropbox has worked flawlessly for me for the last few years... Assignments shared with team mates, group lecture notes, backups , sharing... Lets see how dropbox reacts with this push from competition, .. I got free 7gb from dropbox when they had the promotion of space for uploading pics from cameras which helped a lot

Then you have other services like endnote for cloud notes
