Hehehehe. All this talk about someone who's gonna make a purchase only 2 months later and innocently posted in another thread.
@Anish: Am not planning to buy the 18-200 Sigma, it's the Sony 18-250 which is essentially rebadged Tamron 18-250 with a faster AF and better Bokeh.

There's only one Sigma lens in there which is the 10-20mm which BF1983 has already talked about.

The 3rd was a Tamrom 17-50 f2.8, which again has damn good review.
BUT, a huge disclaimer here. I'm saying all this out of 2ndary opinion, I'd really want a chance to try these cameras out in-hand personally. So, here's the question: How did you livin in Goa get a chance at a camera which is
just being mass available in the US! Please to tell.

And what
do you do.

PS: Am making all these decisions after
considerable discussion on other forums - mainly dpreview, which has most people concerned with taking photographs then measuring graphs.

I agree the pros use Canon/Nikon, that's because of a multitude of reasons not necessarily meant for the amateur enthusiast.
PPS: Am not fighting for Sony here nor justifying my stance for Sony. Am open to suggestions...as long as they fit in the logical scheme of things. I really wanna try out these cams.
