DTDC in not in the mood for Delivery, what the hell?

I PMed dvdstoredelhi asking for PCI-E Asus Wireless Card. he said its available. made the payment, he promtly shipped product.Also called that I made a double payment & promise to refund via check. said he will include product + check in package. And, I got the tracking number on 15th. everything is good till now

now,he shipped it on 15th. the package reached DTDC Jaipur branch on 18th. today is 23feb, and they didn't deliver it yet. it seems package is lying there in office from past 5-6days accoring to tracking details on website

Why don't you go and get it personally from the branch office?

These days, if a seller insists to ship via DTDC, I insist he send it via Metro Plus. I don't mind paying the small premium to get delivery on time.
 
Call DTDC CC and get the exact branch location and contact details to know what is the reason of delay.

In my case the package was held by Municipal corporation and DTDC was not bothered to inform me till I enquired them about the product.
Finally got it after 15 days of wait and that too I have to collect it from MC office. The DTDC service is really pathetic as they don't pick phones when we call them.
 
this is nothing new of them.

one of the reason's why i request senders to never send via dtdc anymore.

had to collect from their office for last 3-4times after waiting and waiting..
 
Same shit happened to me in dec10,iirc, I had to go and pick up a watch, that I had ordered from ebay, from their local office, wtf? I sent a stinker and called up the cc and blasted them. And, day before I got my hdd from letsbuy and see that the parcel's and the hdd sealed box has been tampered and sealed with cello tape, wtf? nothing was missing though :D and it was cod this time :D
 
ALso my las 2 parcel from dtdc is shipped to some far away branch office rather than one located just around my side.Hence its impossible for me to collect from far away branch and the parcel is deliver 4th day after that visit.
 
These suckers did not deliver a package to a member who is at Mohali. They called me up today, said they do not deliver to this location. I was like WTF, then why did the Surat branch accept the package in the first place!

Lamers. This is the second time they've pissed me off! :@
 
^^ Who ever that guy is, he has lied to you. DTDC has very good presence in Mohali. I sent/received most of my couriers via DTDC when I was in Mohali. Unfortunately some of the local DTDC points there were run by idiots, but for the most part The main problems I faced was while sending couriers. Never had a problem receiving them.

just tell them you have couriered stuff via dtdc to the same address before.
 
They never come to my residence, they use to call me when there is a parcel for me and i have to collect it from there branch. Why are they paid if they can't drop give home delivery" :@

Not to Kurali? That is the exact location. Not Mohali TBP.
 
my first experience suggests otherwise :) , bought a nuforce 7m from a TE member in bangalore , he shippd on monday dtdc promised to deliver on wednesday and i got the package on tuesday :D
 
Happened the same to me, a guy from here sold me his graphic card, took 10-12 days on 13th day ( after visiting DTDC office, no one ever picked up the phone during the course ) i knew the parcel is lying in near branch, had to go and get my thing. DTDC is one un-organized company

That usually happens only when a delivery attempt has failed. They have specific daily time periods during which they deliver if there is going to be no one at your house during that time to collect it, they call you and give you the option to collect the courier personally.

From what I can gather from the screen shot, two delivery attempts on 17th and 18th have failed before the final delivery attempt was made on 21th.
 
DTDC took 4 days to deliver my local package!!!!

This time its ARAMEX ... Friend shipped me a HDD through Aramex since 24th , it shows out for delivery and not yet received the drive....
 
This is like Tinkle's It happened to me.

I will add my current woe to the list - The seller gave the package to DTDC yesterday and gave me the tracking number. It was not getting tracked on their website so I went to the nearest branch to inquire about it. They told me that this happens if the package is still lying in the office/branch where the seller gave it as tracking begins after it leaves the source office/branch.

DTDC is worst of all courier services. I also have strange experience from them. Last year i purchase a "Coca-Cola" phone from one of the member of here which costs me around 500 or 600 bucks. The respected member sent me the package on time but till today i never got it from them even no compensation. I tried two three times by going their offices but everytime there is same responce that one of their employees gone kaput and they are filling a case against him, also i tried to call them several times but there is no picking of phone and when i told them about this then they say they always answer any call. After sometime i also leave this matter because their office is very far from my house and i have not so much time to spend with them. One time their senior manager of that office also called that faulty employee in front of me and ask me to talk with him so i talked with him and instead of talking respectfully he is asking me about the package and what it contains and also legal issues about the package contents.:@
