guys contact me who has experience with dual display solution on NVIDIA cards.i wana know how they work. and how they perform on NVIDIA cards. also wants to know if i use dual display will there be reduction in performance in games on my 6600GT OC?

Never seen a dual setup, but heard they are ideal for surfing n reading multiple documents at the same time. But gaming is something you wouldn't like on a dual setup. Also a dual setup reduces the overall FPS as a single GPU will power two independent displays.

Dual displays are extremely useful in Video Editing and any graphics related thing...

And generally useful too...

You just choose your profle man...thats about it...theres no rocket science...

Generally advisable to be done on comparable screens...

It does affect perfomance a bit...

With nvidia, dual monitor is a breeze. NView is very easy to use. And I don't think there'll be much difference in performance, as games only run on primary screen. Unless of course, you playing Flight Sims :hap2: Then, the more the merrier! :eek:hyeah:

but can i do gaming on 1 screen and do work on the other? :D i will connect another usb mouse and usb keyboard and yes. 2 keyboards and mouse works on my machine :D so thinking to play games and work at same time. work means... stock market bolt software on 1 screen and gaming on the other.. im not so keen for playing game on both the screens. the main reason is work on 1 and gaming on the other. reply. im also looking for monitor for dual setup. who ever wants to sell, let me know

2 k/b and mouse work? Never saw that before :p How does it work? If you have 2 notepads open, you can type in both at same time?

i have used 2 mouse in my pc. but have to try keyboard. there is some kind of software which enables you to use 2 keyboard and use 1 machine as 2 independant machines.and yes i think if i plug in another usb keyboard, ill get inputs from both :) so i want to try dual display setup. can anybody let me know that can i work on 1 screen and gaming on the other?
