Hello Guys,
I have 3-4 pieces of dead CD/DVD writers only due to bad lens.Is there any place which can provide repair parts i.e lens etc How much approx Lens will cost?

just get in a new dvd rw. may be a sammy 203 it will do good . the thing is u wont find these parts and even if u do they will be simply priced very high. if u come to delhi u can get them in small shops on the ground floor @ second hand dealers.

else since u from chd. try talk to amarbir ( dealer on dealers paradise for these)

I knew it was coming for repair parts like lens.Well buddy getting new seems good idea.Thanks for suggestion i will try local.It would worthy to get lens @150-300 if possible.

It does Not Make Sense To Import These I Tried Once There Are too Many Variety And Hence Maker No Sense ,also I wuld suggest To Try To check the Resistance Of The Preset on The Lens And Then Tweak It a Little ,Just a Little ,This Will Give Little More Drive To The Lens DIODe and It Might Just Work .If You tweak It More It Will Burn the Lens As Is will Have Provided More Power and current .
