I have a big problem.
I was trying to install a game from a DVD but after 70% of the installation i got an error cant copy data redunduncy check error data cycle can anyone help.

The crc check has failed which means that the DVD is probably scratched and corrupted some data. Try cleaning the disc and try to install again.

If all else fails get Cd Check from here

i tried it i have lg dvd combo drive. the dvd installed on another computer

i checked my disc it had an error but it installed flawlessly on another dvd drive. is the dvd drive or the dvd a problem

Do all your discs give you this problem ? IF yes then there might be a problem with the combo drive.

no not all discs do this. only this particular disc.

i had the same problem with my cd drive. One game wouldnt install completely. Eventually i got a new drive and it installed fine on that. Borrow a friends drive, install it, and return it.
