hi..my friend is looking for a dvd player and he came across a dvd-r - (minus) player
im hearing somthing like this for the first time ...whats the difference between dvd-r- and dvd-r+
 
all dvd players can play both dvd+r and dvd-r . Sometimes, compability might be an issue with certain media in which case you should try changing your media but normally it should..
