PC Peripherals DVDRW BenQ 1640?

Hey u guys who already have benq 1640,i dunno whether this is a problem or not,but after inserting cd or a dvd into 1640,the yellow light on the writer is constantly on,is this normal.

I guess so...since the same happens with my drive too...
