Guys i know m asking too many questions or creating too many threads but i need 2 clarify all my doubts before getting a new rig

As name suggest whts more preferable

2*1gb Transcend\Gskill|corsair DDR2 800 Cost 2.1 to 3K

or 2*2gb Dynet DDR2 667 Costing 2.7K

I know obviously
DDR2 800 Corsair n Gskill r better...but will 4gb dynet perform better or DDR2 800 Transcend|corsair\Gskill??
How much will b performance difference...Other than benchmarking..will I b able 2 distinguish in performance of two Companies??

Plz let me know...

If OS is Vista get 4GB memory. ON XP, 2GB Corsair DDR2 800 is better

u wont be able to use 4gb fully on 32bit OS , install xp 64bit , its much faster than 32bit and can use full ram. Also dont get dynet ram , they suck in overclock , i have temporary dynet 1gb and it doesnt even run at 720 stable . get transcend 800mhz , runs at 1066 easily .

Transcend/GSkill offers low latencies than Dynet. Hence, you get better performance from them. Further, Transcemd/Gskill will OC better Over Dynet.
2 x 1 GB is more than sufficient for 32 bit OS..
go with G-Skill or Transcend.
:)

well...i wont b overclocking my rig at all...will use it at stock settings only since life of proccy is important for me than extra performance...plus i'll b gettin AMD X2 5200+\5600+ since Core 2 r out of my budget....so overclocking would b out pf question...now which one would b better??plus mostly i'll b gettin microATX mobo so i think it'll have 2*240pin DIMM slots....so i was thinking of 2*2gb else i'll b stuck wid 2gb only....

Well AMD mobos best is to get a 780G for 4.5k (best VFM IMHO)

Suppots dual channel (4 RAM slots )

Onboard GPU is comparable to 8500GT.... You would be able to play most games in medium - low settings....

Best onboard in its class...

Also even if you don't OC, transcend are better than Dynet ... You don't not OC ur proccy but atleast run on tighter timings to improve performance.... That won't decrease ur proccy life....

like every body already said.........

gskill>>transcend>>>>>..>>>>dynet...

but since ur saying u wont overclock.....and product life is imp to u then i think 2x2gb dynet 667 might b a good choice.....a better oc memory is generelly preffered only to prevent bottleneck in processor overclock....but sice running at stcok i think memory amt is the choice.

...moreover look im running 2x1 gb + 1x512 mb single channel.....and system is smooth like hot knife through butter!

its still confusing guys..........Also tell me AMD X2 5200+ with Asus M2N MX SE n 8600GT\9500GT will b better or AMD 5200+ with Gigabyte 780G n onboard gfx??

the discrete card will easily be better than the onboard.

M2NMX-SE + 9500GT or 8600GT

get G.SKILL 2GB RAM ........they are for 2.4K
if u want 4GB anway get 2GB G.SKILL RAM for 2.3K & lateron add another 2GB G.SKILL .

so G.SKILL @ 800Mhz ......will be best for you :hap2:

dont go for these dynet ram they suck had a very bad xperience in the past go with transcend 667mhz value ram as u would not oc for oc gkills would be better hope this ends ur confusion

getting any 667 value ram is what i suggested........even if u go dynet; that worst ram i agree for overclock.......but not so bad for general usage....2.7 k for 4 gig...it real cheap.....but if ur mind changes after some time and u want to overclock later then u will b in deep trouble........also chck that dynet ram ur getting had which chip.........i had two dynet ram purchased from defferent dealers one chip had writtn "dynet" on chips[ DNHMAU1GC8FE-A6]...and othr had HYNIX written on "chips".......dont know which is better......hynix ones are wasted by me as i flashed spd's with currupt spd file....then by rma i got dynet ram with dynet chips and now they are running ddr2-813.......for past few weeks.....

getting a ram with 2-3 years of worrenty will be a good option....but if u want to gamble 2.7 k dynet is best bet.....

Well as for overclocking I'll leaving for Mysore within a month or two for my job out there from Mumbai n this PC will b used by my brother whoz just completed 10th n totally a newbie in PC matters...all he knows is to play games n m sure he wo nt know wh t is overclocking for next 3-4 yrs atleast...but neways i'll go for transcend or Gskill...bdw howz Gskill's warranty service ...n performance of ASUS M2N MX SE...can u suggest me best board for less thn 3K for AMD X2.....or even how will b E7200 with Palit N73V??

I am confused why people interested in brands like dynet..no name chips.Go for Quality Rams Like Kingston,Transend,Corsair for guaranteed system stability.
