i too think the VS is set too blue. As many ppl have said here before, put a white paper in the middle of the two monitors and adjust them to as close to the whiteness of the paper as possible.

ok...am back frm my trip...so will try out various things tonite...
many ppl r saying tht the VS is too blue and dell a bit yellow...well i did not adjust anything...every setting is default on both lcds...also i have a dell laptop whose screen colours looks very much like the viewsonic...so i thot tht it shud b the default...so am attaching a wallpaper tht i put on the lcds...since i dont have a crt i cant say which colour is the proper one...if any of u have a crt can u plzz compare the wallp with the lcd pics and post back which one looks like the original walls...

well...i changed over to my new 8800gts card and things seemed much better than they were ago...and did some color calibration (reduced red, etc) and things r looking quite good now...thanks everyone for their helpful suggestions...

sorry to bump up an old thread...but hw r u guys changing the color temperature on the Dell 22"...I couldn't find any control to do so

i think color temp controls are available only in VGA and not when you connect to DVI mode. The color option is there in both modes

I just reduced the gamma in Nvidia control panel.

i'm using 6500 K with brightness and contrast set to 50% on my vx2025.

also using the vx2025 monitor color profile that came in the cd to get good color reproduction.

maybe jedi should use the individual monitors color profile as default in the respective monitors and use sRgb / 6500k setting with b+c set to 50% to see the difference!!

edit: oops! just saw it was quite an old thread!
