Locally purchased from Simandhar Technologies(Now SriRaj technologies; the shop beside prime)
With bill/Accersories
Everything purchased in may 2007.

E6600 was used w/ tru120e on the 680i lt board

E6600 goes to 3.78ghz w/ a new E2160 HS. @1.5+vcore(like 1.55v or something). i didn't take more than few minutes for ocing...otherwise it surely would have reached more of an oc w/ the same 1.2cm(in height) intel stock hs.

so w/ tru120e it will reach much more. will report oc results on true also. here. later
all nonsense/ot welcomed.

E6600 - 5.3k
xfx 680i lT Sli - 7.2k
combo - 11.5k

difference over why some prefer 6600 over the 6750 - the multiplier difference of one.
6750=8x multi 6600=9x multi
6600= 1066fsb & 6750=1333fsb

so on a cheap board the chances are that the 6600 will oc higher due to fsb limitations/walls. ocing w/ lesser fsb makes this proccy good.:)
Btw i will be postin pics soon

well, in that case i m gonna pass.it was for a friend, who has a ip35-e , and i think he wud go with the 6750 then...

EDIT: FORGOT TO POST THAT ITS BACK FOR SALE AGAIN

both avail...E6600 and 680i lt sli mobo

E6600=5.7k
680i lt sli=7.7k
6600 oces to 3.78ghz on on my 2160s' puny heatsink:)

guaranted to hit that speed:ohyeah:

people can pour in for all sorts of OT.

^~70c.....well thats not w/ teh 6600 HSF; thats w/ the new 2160 Hs provided by intel. which is only 1.x cm in height

Can you please report temps and post a screenie of E6600 with E2160 hsf at 3.78Ghz with 1.5/1.55V vcore with Orthos running for at least 17mins? :)

Items reqd on screen- Everest>sensor, Orthos blend test running post 17 mins, cpuz main window, cpuz mem, core temp(the proper version thats shows right temps or any utility known to report proper temps on that mobo+chip. ) :)

i must get the proccy myself to test. its w/ my friend now...and exams going on too.

so hold on for a few days ...i dunno if that friend would bring the proccy here immediately.....

but let me tell u this borehand - it was crysis stable at that freq for an hour or more for the time i tested. will do orthos as soon as i get it again.
