@shanil, first of all I don't know if the mobo supports this. it is not there in the list of supported proc. will think of it later if I don't get E6600.
@mutant, over-budget, overkill and perhaps incompatible with mobo.

E6600, never OCed, always run at stock speeds with good psu and cooler.
No box, just chip and stock cooler.
Should have some warranty left- will check exact details.
